Mission

Our mission is to provide an affordable biotech laboratory incubator to support early stage start-ups and promote their success, in turn contributing to the growth of entrepreneurial life science innovation in NYC.

What We Do

This is an exciting time for New York City’s rapidly expanding life science sector and the city and state are leading many programs to assist entrepreneurial biopharmaceutical researchers to commercialize their technologies. KiiLN will allow these innovators to remain close to their academic research labs while developing their companies into successful revenue-generating, job-creating local businesses whose products will find cures for diseases and improve human health.

KiiLN will provide affordable, early-stage company-dedicated wet-lab space in East Harlem, New York offering specialized equipment as well as office and meeting space to life science companies. KiiLN’s target licensees (tenants) will be early-stage, seed-funded / early series A funded companies. KiiLN will help increase the chances of success for early-stage companies and promote their growth by providing access to mentors, industry experts, collaborative space and shared equipment, in addition to a vetted network of business support consultants. KiiLN is uniquely poised to solve the problem of a lack of affordable lab space for early-stage companies in Manhattan because of its focus on grassroots science, an expertise of the five PhD-trained co-founders, while also incorporating lessons learned from the success of the tech incubators in New York City. The concept is led by an enthusiastic team with extensive experience in research science as well as business development but who are part of a younger generation of life scientists and entrepreneurs who will help lead New York City to become the next biotech hub.
