What We Do

National Museum of the Surface Navy is a forward thinking community oriented museum located aboard the iconic Battleship IOWA at the Port of Los Angeles - our nation's busiest seaport. The National Museum of the Surface Navy raises awareness on the importance of the Surface Navy's role in maintaining free use of the oceans in support of commerce, communications, humanitarian assistance, international relations and American culture through education, veterans, and community programs.
