Responsible for analyzing business processes, researching all relevant material and information, recommending strategies, designing solutions and overseeing implementation. Collaborates with company leadership to reach agreement on a shared vision for process enhancement and works closely with IT staff to implement changes.
Led a Salesforce.com Service Cloud implementation for our operations division. Responsible for designing and managing all aspects of the system; security and data model, data migration from existing systems, integration with legacy systems, user training. Coordinated activity of in-house resources and an outside consulting firm. Directed activities of a 3 member implementation team. Standardized the case management process where only ad hoc processes had existed previously. Completed the project on time and under budget.
June, 2007 - September, 2012
Business analysis, requirement gathering and solution design for web applications related to the company's core business services of outsourced human resources and staffing. Implemented and maintained applications (PHP, MySQL, Java, SharePoint) used by 160 in-house employees, hundreds of clients and over 10,000 client worksite employees.
Developed a paperless employee onboarding system with programmatic PDF form filling and digital signatures that allows clients to complete the employee hiring process more quickly and led to ALTRES, Inc. being named the 2009 Business Leadership Hawaii "Innovative Company of the Year."
Designed and built a prospect tracking system consisting of a pricing engine, collaboration space and proposal generator which cut the sales and underwriting cycle from more than 1 week to 2 days and eliminated 12 man-hours per week in review meetings.
Recognized on annual performance evaluation by CIO as being able to assist users with "gray" requirements and "turn them into black and white solutions".
September, 2006 - May, 2007
Carried out modernization of a boutique hotel front office by recommending and implementing technology solutions including installation and setup of a hotel property management system.

November, 2005 - July, 2006
Extended and provided customer support for a SharePoint Server based tasking and collaboration system used by U.S. military commands including USSTRATCOM, USPACOM and multiple National Guard units.
Refactored C# code and moved SQL queries into stored procedures for a 75% increase in page loading time as well as increased separation of logic and data layers and improved code readability.
Completed and shipped a major software release on time despite losing key developer resources.
October, 2000 - February, 2005
Responsible for architecture, definition of customer requirements, estimates, application development and quality assurance at a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner with enterprise clients across the Southeastern U.S.
Implemented an integration solution between the Coca-Cola online store and its fulfillment partner using Microsoft BizTalk Server to send, receive and transform XML documents and apply business rules.
Developed a BizTalk Server solution for National Starch and Chemical Company that would receive EDI documents then transform and deliver them to an SAP backend. Trained National Starch employees on BizTalk.
Designed and implemented a secure EDI/XML purchase order and invoicing system with BizTalk Server and an AS2 adapter for BWAY Corporation and its vendors.
