What We Need
- Ongoing HR support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
- Support may include: hiring, compensation & benefits, HR policy & procedure, performance management, and/or workplace culture
- Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working. For this project, we also recommend working with a volunteer who is knowledgeable about the Organization's state policies

Manage a team of 4-5 direct reports in charge of different teams: Business Development, Student Groups, Individual students
Report to the board of directors or the Executive Board Member overseeing College Engagement.
Time Commitment : 3-6 Hours weekly / 6 months minimum

Technology (Salesforce, Jira, Slack, Google Workplace) to manage communication and operations

This project will save us $1,955 , allowing us to provide instruction to an additional 20 Student.
This leadership role will ensure the proper functioning of our College Engagement Strategy.

JerseySTEM
Our Mission
JERSEYSTEM is a grassroots 501(c) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math ("STEM") education to 5th-8th grade girls in New Jersey underserved communities
We partner with socially responsible companies and their employees, youth organizations in underserved communities, and civic-minded college students and universities.
Together we develop and deliver innovative, hands-on, and online afterschool projects and inquiry-based learning opportunities that develop teamwork, 21st-century problem-solving skills, and self-esteem.
What We Do
Reduce the gender gap in STEM participation;
Bridge the innovation gap in STEM education by introducing novel formats for teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math;
Address the opportunity gap by expanding access to STEM programs in underserved communities.
