What we need
  • Specific copy from one document (up to 1000 words) translated from one language to one other of the Organization's choice
  • Note: If you need more than 1000 words translated or copy translated into more than one language, please post additional versions of this project

Hi! Girl Up needs help translating 1 document (1,000 words) from English to Modern Standard Arabic. This is apart of a larger project (1 of 5 documents needing translation). If have capacity. would love help on translating the other documents as well. These are for a girl audience, ages 13-22 to inspire them to host events centered around gender equity in STEM.

What we have in place
  • We currently have 1 document (1,000 words) in English, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have instructions, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,098 , allowing us to to serve our leadership development resources for girls on a global scale.

This project is important because translating these documents into Modern Standard Arabic will allow girls across the MENA region to access these resources. There is a gender gap in STEM and Girl Up is dedicated to encouraging girls to pursue STEM.

Girl Up is a girl-centered leadership development initiative, focusing on equity for
girls and women in spaces where they are unheard or underrepresented. We believe when girls and women are in positions of influence, they work to create a more just and equitable world for everyone.

Girl Up operates a global network of regional affiliates reaching 150,000 girls in 130 countries. We deliver evidence-based leadership development training through our girl-led Clubs, programs, and events. As members of a global movement, girls are a force for social good -- connected to a Community of their peers who are advocating for policy change and advancing gender justice.

Founded in 2010 and hosted by the United Nations Foundation, Girl Up welcomes girls and youth of all gender identities to start a Club and join our movement to advance gender justice worldwide. Together, we are expanding girls' skills, rights, and opportunities to lead, and changing the face of leadership for generations to come.
