Project details

What we need
  • Feedback on the current website’s layout, user functionality, mobile-friendliness, visual design, content, and other key features
  • Clear articulation of the Organization’s goals for the website
  • Recommendations for improvements to help achieve the Organization’s desired goals
  • Note: If you are looking for a more specific, in-depth audit of your website's design and usability, try our Website Usability Audit project
Additional details

We have been wanting to revamp our website for a long time, and we want to make sure we think through everything needed as we begin this process. Our main goals for the website are to recruit volunteers and supporters, as well as tell the story of the organization. We want to understand all the ways the website needs updating, and we're also interested in how changing platforms could be beneficial.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an outline of our goals and target audiences, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Squarespace analytics and Google domains accounts, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to focus our resources on evaluating and improving program materials, processes, and services, as well as expanding program staff capacity to serve more students.

Our organization provides individualized, in-home English lessons through the service of volunteer tutors. We can only serve as many students as we have volunteers. We are also funded in part by donations from individuals, as well as annual community fundraising events. We need our website to communicate effectively about our mission, purpose, and story, in order to recruit new volunteers and donors and spread awareness to the community.
