Project details

What we need
  • Specific copy from one document (up to 1000 words) translated from one language to one other of the Organization's choice
  • Note: If you need more than 1000 words translated or copy translated into more than one language, please post additional versions of this project
Additional details

We are looking for someone who can translate our volunteer orientation manual and personnel forms from English to Polish.

What we have in place
  • We currently have all of our documents available electronically, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a designated point person for contact on this project, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,098 , allowing us to pay for room and board costs of patients who do not have insurance or out of pocket funds to cover their stay at our hospice inpatient unit.

Seeking POLISH translation only at this time. This will enable us to train and onboard a new volunteer, who speaks POLISH.

Our mission

OUR PURPOSE

We meet our patients and families where they are with urgency, purpose and compassionate accountability surrounding them with decades of dedicated hospice expertise.

OUR CULTURE

Our strength comes from working together providing more layers of support for anyone with a terminal illness who seeks and needs our care regardless of age, diagnosis or ability to pay.

OUR COMMITMENT

Every Person, Every Time.

What we do

Hospice of Michigan

With roots dating back to the 1970s, we are the most experienced provider of hospice care in Michigan. Currently serving approximately 4,700 patients annually in 46 counties, we're also the largest in our state, and among the largest recognized 501c3 non-profit advanced illness management organizations in the nation.

We provide care for all--regardless of age, diagnosis, or ability to pay. Last year, our commitment extended $4 million beyond what was reimbursed by insurance. Because we welcome those who are uninsured, or whose treatment is more expensive than what other hospices can provide, we depend on the financial support of our donors for the treatments, medications, services, grief support, and spiritual care of patients and families in need.
