Website Audit
Website Audit
Project details
What we need
- Feedback on the current website’s layout, user functionality, mobile-friendliness, visual design, content, and other key features
- Clear articulation of the Organization’s goals for the website
- Recommendations for improvements to help achieve the Organization’s desired goals
- Note: If you are looking for a more specific, in-depth audit of your website's design and usability, try our Website Usability Audit project
Additional details
We just launched a new website at the end of 2018. It is certainly more user friendly and visually appealing than our old one, but there is still much room for improvement. I am the web developer for my organization and I am not formally trained in that arena. Our primary audience is donors and parents looking to sign up their kids for programs, so ideally the website is well suited for both. Help designing an efficient "flow" and making content relevant appreciated!
What we have in place
- We currently have a wordpress based website and can provide login credentials, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have full time staff, pictures, and content, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to further our goal of launching leaders. It also allows us allocate more of our budget for youth scholarships and wages for coaches in our development programs.
We have an amazing youth program that significantly improves the lives of those youth we engage. Our programs are pay what you can and we program across the entire city to ensure we are as accessible as possible. The biggest barrier we face is not delivering quality instruction, but making sure families that could benefit from our programs can find us and effectively sign up for programs. In addition to this, a better designed website would greatly support our ability to appeal to donors.
Project plan
Our mission
We strengthen our community by educating and empowering youth to realize their full potential.
What we do
Saint Paul Urban Tennis is a nonprofit organization providing opportunities for young people to develop their tennis abilities while also building character, leadership skills, and a sense of community. Our summer program runs from June 20 - July 27 on 20+ sites across St. Paul for ages 5-18. We offer income-based scholarships so no child is turned away due to an inability to pay. There are also several half day academic camps we put on in August. More information can be found on our website stpaulurbantennis.org.
