Impact statement
This project will save us $9,186 , allowing us to keep our fees very low for underprivileged, women, and minority students around the world and to use our limited resources for marketing purposes.

Project Details

What We Need
  • A complete overhaul of a website’s current visual design (including creation of a customized theme for Wordpress if needed)
  • Design direction based on Organization's desired branding and style preferences
  • Mock-ups of key site pages
Additional Details

A UX Designer with Ruby on Rails programming experience to make fixes on for better mobile responsiveness.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have a complete Ruby on Rails site, with new test environments, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have enterprise-level volunteers, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help

We are ready to go to market with this program, however the UX on mobile devices is not yet where we need it. Getting these few fixes done will help us to confidently present this platform and program to our target market.

Project may require a short interview with the organization.

About The Org

Our Mission

YWAM Converge is a ministry of YWAM International, a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups, and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. Also known as YWAM (pronounced "WHY-wham"), we unite in a common purpose to know God and to make Him known.

Helping Students Make a Difference!

Our Mission: Connecting students to missional internships.

What We Do

At YWAM Converge, we believe everyone has a calling; following the crowd will not get you there, and a personalized missions project is the best way to discover your purpose.

We connect with passionate people, especially people working with missional organizations. And we connect with students who are passionate about more than their career, especially students ready to Go into ALL the world, including EVERY area of influence. (Mt. 28:18-20).

We are dedicated to the spiritual formation of individuals as they make a difference in nations (Mt. 28:18-20). We created Converge internships to develop missional leaders for every sphere of influence. We develop curriculum & resources, conduct retreats/short-courses, and broadcast the Converge Stories podcast.

Since 1989, we have coordinated 75 internships (over 340 students from over 110 universities to over 40 countries) to help start businesses and plant churches, install water pumps, establish therapy routines for disabled, perform research in clinics, develop nutritional plans for hospices, and create curriculum for schools. With Converge platform, we are preparing to match, equip, and send over 300 interns per year.
