Project details

What we need
  • Cover letter of 3-4 paragraphs clearly stating why you’re applying for this grant and how you will meet the funder’s requirements
What we have in place
  • We currently have our current grant proposal and goals, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have past examples of cover letters and LOIs, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,792 , allowing us to move forward in our fundraising efforts and strengthen our grant writing abilities.

Like many small museums, we have a small staff and limited budget to work within. With your advice and guidance on how to efficiently write a cover letter, we will be able to express our objectives to potential grant makers and achieve the dollars we require to support our local history.
