Project details

What we need
  • Completed filters, either uploaded to your social media account or complete with instructions on how to do it yourself
  • Guidance for your next event
Additional details

We would like a social media photo filter to help promote our Cancer Advocacy Day in Idaho which takes place on January 27, 2020. Our priority topic for the advocacy day will be tobacco and e-cigarette regulation. We are interested in best practices around using the filter prior to the event for promotion of the upcoming event and/or to highlight the event as it is occurring.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an ACS CAN member filter as an example, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a logo guide, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,792 , allowing us to generate awareness for our organization and our cancer issue priorities.

Our Cancer Advocacy Day is how we amplify the voices of cancer patients, survivors and caregivers throughout our state. It is an opportunity for anyone who wants to engage in our advocacy efforts to make cancer a top priority to join together as a team to successfully fight for laws that impact the issue of cancer and help make a difference in the lives of thousands of people in Idaho.

Our mission

If we are to succeed in our mission to end suffering and death from cancer, it won't just happen in the doctor's office or research lab. This movement must start at the statehouse and in Congress. And, it will be led by volunteers - regular people whose lives have been impacted by cancer - rallying together to demand change from their elected officials.

What we do

We are the organization empowering volunteers to do just that - influence change and impact the future of cancer. From gaining dramatic increases in funding for cancer research to ensuring all Americans have access to cancer care, our work is saving lives and leading to new innovative breakthroughs in how to fight this disease.
