Project details

What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details

We need an "elevator speech", and organizational backgrounder, our founding story, and a story about our largest completed project to date, the reclamation and restoration of Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary. We also have two big projects we are working on and need to tell those stories in compelling ways. We have a lot of information, but it's not organized in a way that pulls people in.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a lot of history and documentation of our work, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have people willing to share their stories, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to engage local youth to complete restoration projects at our local Nature Sanctuary.

We are in a capital campaign right now to build an environmental and cultural interpretive center. We need to tell the story of the place in a compelling way to draw in prospective donors.
We also need to tell the story of our organization in a simple and easy to understand way. Our current materials/story is too confusing for people.
