Project details

What we need
  • Set up of Google Ads
  • Training for staff on how to monitor performance and update Google Ads going forward
  • Optional: Set up integration between Google Ads and Google Analytics

We have already set up Google Ads, however we need assistance with the actual ads placed, especially the use of keywords for effective ads.

What we have in place
  • We currently have Google Ad Grant and complete set up, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have some understanding of keywords, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,187 , allowing us to visit key campuses and missions organization events to make personal contacts for organic growth.

We are building our brand as a new internship placement platform for host organizations to create and administer internships and for students to select a specific missions project and get effective online and personal coaching as they prepare to complete a unique final project for the host organization. Ads will help raise our visibility for hosts seeking interns and students seeking internships.

  • Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss goals and target audiences for search engine marketing efforts
  • Volunteer Manager shares Ads credentials with Professional, as well as past marketing materials and style guide to use for ad content creation

Milestone 1: Organize Account & Choose Landing Pages
  • Professional establishes Google Ads campaigns based on target audiences (e.g., donors vs. beneficiaries) and Ad groups within each campaign
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional choose landing pages for each ad group
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on how to establish/modify campaigns and ad groups going forward

Milestone 2: Establish Keywords
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional use Keyword Planner to pick keywords for each ad group
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on how to monitor performance and update keywords & keyword match types

Milestone 3: Write Ads
  • Professional writes copy for Ads (one for each Ad group, if applicable)
  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback on Ad copy, which Professional incorporates

  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on how to monitor Ads portal for ongoing reporting
  • (Optional) If Organization already has Google Analytics tracking codes on website, Professional integrates Google Ads with Google Analytics to help Volunteer Manager understand the behavior of users who click on their ads
  • (Optional) Professional trains Volunteer Manager on how to monitor website activity from Google Ads on Google Analytics

Our mission

We are a University Ministries Circle of YWAM International with a staff team of certified coordinators on five continents, hundreds of trained YWAM campus ministries staff, host partners, and volunteers.

Vision: To recapture the purpose of the university and proclaim the Gospel in every nation through every vocation.

Mission: To mobilize university students for the next and final wave of Global Missions and to foster student-led missions to and through every sphere of influence.

What we do

We cannot know God's calling until we know our story, especially the parts that hinder us. Jesus is calling us to engage our stories so we can engage our world.

We are developing missions-minded leaders for every sphere of influence. We facilitate opportunities for students to learn how to make a difference. Our target students are from ANYWHERE; they are ready to go into ALL the world, including EVERY area of influence. (Mt. 28:18-20).

Since 1989, we have coordinated internships for hundreds of students from over one hundred universities to nearly 50 countries to help start businesses and plant churches, install water pumps, establish therapy routines for disabled, perform research in clinics, develop nutritional plans for hospices, and create curriculum for schools. With Converge platform, we are preparing to connect, equip, and send over 300 interns per year.

Google Ads Set Up Project

John with was fun to work with. He was so knowledgable and it is evident that he is living out his mission through his efforts with YWAM Converge. We did some one on one walk-thru's of the Google Ad's platform to get YWAM rolling. John put in a lot of time to understand the platform and taught me a few things in the process.
