Project details

What we need
  • A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
  • A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future
Additional details

As a one-person team for an organization that has many varying projects going on at once, it would be helpful to get guidance on social media strategies. With an existing Hootsuite account or recommendations for something different.

What we have in place
  • We currently have 3 social media platforms in existence (2 FB, IG and twitter, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a hootsuite account and partners to share content, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to focus on the myriad of other work that is ongoing!

It's important for us to connect with our broader audience without necessarily seeing them in person at our events. It's hard to keep up with ongoing and consistent posts when there is only one person. Organizing planning will help me/the organization strategize how to share content with our audience.

Our mission

Trying Together supports high-quality care and education for young children by providing advocacy, community resources, and professional growth opportunities for the needs and rights of children, their families, and the individuals who interact with them. Trying Together works regionally (in Southwestern Pennsylvania) and takes its expertise and models to statewide and national audiences. The Recess Advocacy Team is a group of organizations dedicated to health, wellness, education, and play with a focus on recess practices and policies in pre-k through sixth grade in Allegheny County.

What we do

Within Trying Together, we have two initiatives that projects on this platform will be most helpful. The Playful Pittsburgh Collaborative is a group of organizations dedicated to advancing the importance of play in the lives of children, families and communities in the Pittsburgh region by: (1) Raising awareness that play is a critical element in the lives of people of all ages, (2) Educating decision-makers (from parents to legislators) in our region so that their choices support access to play for all people and (3) Modeling (and inspiring) through various activities the actions we hope our broader community will take in their daily lives. In addition, the Recess Advocacy Team is a group of organizations dedicated to health, wellness, education, and play with a focus on recess practices and policies in pre-k through sixth grade in Allegheny County.
