Individual Donor Letter
Individual Donor Letter
Project details
What we need
- A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors
Additional details
We would like to send an end of the year letter to our donors suggesting they donate before the end of the year for the tax write off for 2019. DV8 Kitchen is a social enterprise in Lexington, Kentucky who gives second chance employment to people in early stages of recovery from addiction. We just signed up for Cathafire, so I realize this is a little late in the game, but I thought I would give it a try. Thank you for considering!
What we have in place
- our website DV8Kitchen.com has information about our foundation: DV8 Kitchen vocational training foundation. It has our mission, pictures and what we do. We would like to send a letter to our original investors as well as some of our donors reminding them about DV8, our mission and if they would like to contribute to the foundation before the year ends.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,140 , allowing us to spend our resources on other projects
My husband and I run this organization out of our home. We also have 3 other restaurants and a catering company. DV8 has taken our heart and we just don't have the time to spend writing a letter at this time. Plus we would like to change it up alittle bit and possibly sound a little different, more professional, etc.
Project plan
Our mission
DV8 Kitchen Vocational Training Foundation, Inc. strives to help people recovering from substance abuse to redirect their lives by offering "second-chance employment." These individuals are systematically overlooked, yet they are often highly capable. DV8's mission is to recognize their value and provide people in recovery with the means to get their lives back on track.
