What we need
  • An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
  • A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format
Additional details

We would like to create an infographic that depicts our 4-year long campaign efforts in an easy digestible timeline figure

What we have in place
  • We currently have a word document outlining our milestones by month and year, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have reference graohics, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to support 1.1 million NYC students by advocating for better school food policies.

We would like to use this for an upcoming publication and our website

Our mission

Community Food Advocates (CFA) is a policy impact organization working to reform policies and programs relating to food and income so they are more equitable and accessible to low-income New Yorkers. Core to our mission is ensuring that communities most directly impacted by these policies and programs play a leading role in the advocacy process.

What we do

CFA works to expand and improve child nutrition programs to support children’s health and learning capacity, and increase access to nutritious food for all New Yorkers, especially the two million living in poverty.

CFA specifically focuses on New York City’s School Breakfast and Lunch Programs in public schools; the Summer Food Service Program; and WIC (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children), seeking innovative ways to increase participation in these programs. One of our major initiatives is the “Lunch 4 Learning” campaign, launched 3 years ago to fight for universal free school lunch for all New York City public school students.
