Visual Brand Guide
Visual Brand Guide
Project details
What we need
- Visual branding guidelines/style guide in .pdf and/or print format that includes specific colors, primary and secondary typefaces, minimum size and buffer space for logo, examples of incorrect logo usage, and any other graphic design elements, to guide use in print and digital communications materials
Additional details
I am the marketing director for a literacy nonprofit that will be beginning a campaign of literacy in an under-resourced community in Chicago. We would like someone to assist in working on visual branding elements for the campaign.
What we have in place
- We currently have the goals and ideas for the project, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have some basic elements of visual design, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to spread the love of literacy in a community that needs it the most.
This is the foundation for which we can begin a campaign. Without the visual elements. All we have is a blank canvas!

Our mission
Open Books' mission is to transform lives through reading, writing, and the unlimited power of books.
What we do
Open Books' vision is that all children have what they need to become life-long readers. Founded in 2006, Open Books engages children and families to identify and provide them with the resources they need to make reading a part of their everyday lives. This includes free access to books in homes and schools that lack books and in- and out-of-school-time programs that provide reading, writing, and family supports related to literacy. In multiple Chicago neighborhoods, Open Books operates retail bookstores, the revenue of which supports the organization's program and operations. The nearly-1.5-million books donated to Open Books each year make up its stores' inventories and drive book grants to children, schools, families, and other partner organizations.
