Project details

What we need
  • Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
  • Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
  • Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)
Additional details

Please see this google doc for a description of what we need:

What we have in place
  • We are starting with an existing 5 year old website. Content is OK, but needs tightening up and reorganization. We take that responsibility.
You'll have 3 people supporting the project proving guidance on vision, flow, and doing the heavy lifting of moving content over.
How this will help
This project will save us $16,822 , allowing us to helping us establish a sustainable business model through organizational restructuring and investment in staff development

ELPs website is not up to current web design standards, is hard to navigate and update by the staff. Our goal is to bring Performance Assessment Systems to schools nationwide as we believe it is the best approach to prepare our youth for post-secondary education and beyond.

Rebuilding our website allows us to build a cadence around sharing our knowledge and expertise with the educators of the world, growing our business and reaching many more youth that will benefit from this approach.

Our mission

Our mission is to transform the lives of students - especially those who will be first in their families to attend college - by preparing them for success in college, career, and life.

What we do

At ELP, we partner with administrators and teachers to help them use and adapt cutting-edge performance assessment resources developed by experts at Stanford University and tested in real schools. Using these resources, school leaders design and implement rigorous, reliable systems for evaluating learning and providing actionable feedback that meet the unique needs of their students. Starting from their vision for the knowledge, skills and dispositions each of their students should have when they graduate, we coach school leaders on tailoring performance assessment systems to support the development of those particular skills and strengths.

This approach gives schools and districts the tools they need to give every student an educational experience where they feel confident and valued. In doing so, we move closer to a future of truly equitable education that equips every student for the day after graduation--and produces lifelong learners with real power and opportunity.

Testimonials

Christian is AMAZING. He's so pleasant and knowledgable. He was so flexible with his schedule, even as he moved through time zones and was always in a different one than the rest of our team. He's creative and has helped us put together a beautiful and useful website. He was patient when we had crazy ideas and didn't even know if they were possible to do. He's just a nice guy, we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with him about the website and otherwise. We wouldn't be able to have done anything close to it without him!
