What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

We're collecting videos from men around the world that consider themselves male allies, and we're asking them what it means to be a male ally in their daily lives, and why it's important to them. We are looking for a seasoned editor to compile them together (about 12 videos), with a few graphics of statistics in between. We would like to have a teaser done in a week (we're on a time crunch to get them out)

What we have in place
  • We currently have the videos, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have statistics for the graphics, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to impact and raise awareness among more people to create positive social change around gender equity and equality.

It's important to show both sides of creating gender equity and equality- and this video will show that. As a non-profit that pushes towards highlighting and amplifying women's voices, it's great to hear the voice of male allies as well.

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format
