What we need
  • A new partnership proposal presentation, or an update of an existing proposal in Powerpoint, Keynote, Google Slides, Prezi, or another presentation software
  • Best practices and tactics for structuring an effective partnership proposal
Additional details

COVID shutdowns and changes in out of school time have increased the need for child care so parents can continue to work even when school is not in session and additional homework help and tutoring to reduce the inequities of education and learning loss. The Y is ready to respond and need a presentation to inspire donors to support those who are unable to afford the service.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a plan to implement a program and need funding, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have partnerships and endorsements with area schools, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,828 , allowing us to not turn any child away due to their inability to pay and provide services to keep parents employed and children learning

The cost of providing a Learning Lab and Child Care is prohibitive to lower income families who can't add additional costs to their budgets. Thechanges in school schedules and the demands of home schooling are of no fault of these families, yet if they don't get these services, it widens the gap of education inequities. Raising money to support these families will make an incredible difference for years to come

  • Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss the goals, intended audience, and desired length of the presentation

  • Professional outlines the new pitch to convey overall presentation arc, slides to be included, and important supporting elements
  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

Milestone 3: Final Deliverable
  • Professional delivers a final draft of the presentation, along with notes to help guide presentation delivery
