What we need
- Ongoing marketing strategy support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
- Support may include: defining your marketing goals, determining the right marketing channels, messaging your program, branding, or defining your target audience
- Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.

A researcher and grant writer would be great.
What we have in place
- We currently have a website, faculty manual, and workshops, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have speaking engagements, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to focus on content, and how to best serve the holistic needs of individual educators.
This is an educational nonprofit serving those who instruct underserved adult learners. Given the climate and upending nature of education, we are needed more than ever.

Our mission
The mission of Steps Beyond Remediation, Inc. is to address equity issues of access and success in higher education by offering culturally-affirming, faith-based, academically rigorous programs and initiatives for mature low-income students, and students of color, specifically those who have placed into developmental English as a pre- or co-requisite to college-level coursework. We explicitly seek to serve African-Americans and other groups traditionally underserved in higher education, by focusing on the unique synergy and strength of one's heritage, overt and unwritten societal and cultural norms, and the importance of the village.
