Visual Brand Guide
Visual Brand Guide
Project details
What we need
- Visual branding guidelines/style guide in .pdf and/or print format that includes specific colors, primary and secondary typefaces, minimum size and buffer space for logo, examples of incorrect logo usage, and any other graphic design elements, to guide use in print and digital communications materials
What we have in place
- We currently have a logo, website, brochure, newsletters, stationary set, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have brand colors and font, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,632 , allowing us to provide 26 high school graduates with a University Transition Award - a carefully selected package of items that support students' transition from the countryside to university town/city.
While we have been designing materials and communications that essentially follow a "brand", we have not created a formal visual brand guide to support this work. Organizing this information into a single document will be so helpful for our future efforts especially as we consider new elements such as a infographics to tell our story.
Project plan
Our mission
The mission of Project Ethiopia is to partner with rural communities to create hope and opportunity through education, healthy homes and economic resilience.
What we do
Project Ethiopia is a volunteer organization that, with active village engagement, helps rural Ethiopian villagers access primary education, clean water, sanitation facilities, sustainable farming support and healthy housing. We work in a remote, rural area of northwest Ethiopia where other aid money often does not reach.
Project Ethiopia does not operate as a traditional non-governmental organization (NGO), but rather utilizes a model in which we work side-by-side with the community, developing camaraderie and earning the trust of our village partners. Our projects empower villagers to work cooperatively to improve the community as a whole; addressing big challenges through the energy and commitment of many hands and hearts.
Following the guidance and wisdom of our team in Ethiopia and their deep knowledge of the local community, Project Ethiopia has developed and refined a model for working at the grassroots level in small, yet powerful ways. Our projects utilize improvements that are both culturally appropriate and can be maintained by the communities with whom we partner.
Testimonials
I so enjoyed working with Jimena! She quickly understood how we wanted to portray our organization in a Visual Brand Guide and produced a wonderful final product that will be incredibly helpful going forward. I highly recommend Jimena and hope we have the chance to work together again.
The work Project Ethiopia is doing is so important and I was lucky to work on their brand guide. Sue is incredibly nice and patient with my schedule and it was truly a pleasure to work with her.
