Process Improvement
Process Improvement
Project details
What we need
- Written recommendations to improve a specific process, including the controls necessary to maintain the revised process
- An outline of key metrics for tracking how successful the process improvements are over time, with current-state benchmarks
Additional details
Namati is an international NGO focused on legal empowerment. Our annual budget is in the range of $9M-$10M. As we navigate an uncertain fundraising environment due to the pandemic and global economic turmoil, we need to improve the accuracy and utility of our fundraising team's revenue forecasting model. Currently, the development team uses a very simple Excel spreadsheet to assess our position with respect to overall revenue for the year. We have a list of improvements we'd like implemented.
What we have in place
- We have a detailed list of improvements we'd like made. The unknown is what system to use and how to actually implement some of our proposed improvements. Whatever system we develop must be user-friendly and easy for our team to maintain over time.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,888 , allowing us to put the funds in the field!
This project will significantly help us better assess the reality of our fundraising outlook. This is critical in being able to support our in-country work.

Our mission
These are dark days if you care about justice. Power and wealth are extremely concentrated. Authoritarianism and nativism have gained ground. And we are speeding towards environmental collapse.
Law is supposed to be one of our most powerful tools for advancing justice. But for billions of people around the world, the law is broken. It's an abstraction--or worse, a threat. Namati and members of the Global Legal Empowerment Network advance justice by equipping people to know, use, and shape the laws that affect them.
