Project details
What we need
- A high-resolution digital version of an illustration that can be used across multiple channels (web, print, and/or merchandising)
Additional details
We are rebranding our outreach materials for our LakeSmart program. The primary outreach piece we have is a flyer that is almost 20 years old, with a poster on the back illustrating 21 LakeSmart actions you can take on your property. The old illustration is dated and needs a refresh. We also would like to modify the text that is included on the poster.
What we have in place
- We currently have a file with the old version of the poster, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a Word document with the modified text, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to use limited income (especially limited now as many of our traditional foundations turn to direct COVID relief) to keep staff on payroll and keep other elements of the program going.
LakeSmart is our flagship program, driving about half of our annual budget in terms of both income and expense. We use the brochure that accompanies this illustration at events and programs, we include it on our website, and we give or mail to prospective homeowners who are interested in the program. It is our most popular outreach piece.
Project plan
Our mission
Maine Lakes Society mission is to promote, protect and enhance lake water quality, and preserve the ecological, economic, recreational, and aesthetic benefits of Maine's lakes. We accomplish this through science-based action, education and advocacy, and by supporting local lake associations. We strive to build a diverse and growing membership of lake associations, individuals, and businesses who actively support our mission. Our organization focuses on three program areas: LakeSmart which educates landowners about erosion and runoff; Lakes Alive! which focuses on youth education; and Advocacy in both Augusta and D.C. to promote laws, rules and regulations that protect lake health.
Testimonials
Hannah is a talented artist who is easy to work with and highly responsive. She created a fantastic product that goes will with our new brand identity, and she dealt with many rounds of edits over a longer time period than expected due to holidays and other delays, but always responded in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to work with her again and recommend her most highly!
