Brochure Graphic Design
Project details
What we need
- Print-ready designed brochure template provided in a high-resolution format (jpeg, pdf, etc.)
- Collateral, to be used in conjunction with the Brochure Writing project, for new marketing materials
- Accurate, print-ready specifications
- Note: This project does not include printing
Additional details
We have a 20 year old brochure that needs to be refreshed/redesigned. The back of the brochure is a poster and I have requested a new illustration via Catchafire. We have the text finalized for the other side, and can send the old brochure so you can see what we're moving away from. We also have a new brand guide for fonts, colors, etc.
What we have in place
- We currently have a copy of the old brochure that needs updating, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have updated text and a branding guide, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to spend limited dollars on staff payroll and other expenses to keep the project going, especially in light of the challenging fundraising atmosphere in 2020.
LakeSmart is our flagship program, taking up about half of our annual budget. This brochure is the primary outreach piece we use to connect with potential LakeSmart homeowners. We give it out when we table events and speak to groups so it has a wide audience. But you'll see it is very dated and needs to be refreshed, especially since we have a new logo and branding guide for 2020.
Project plan
Our mission
Maine Lakes Society mission is to promote, protect and enhance lake water quality, and preserve the ecological, economic, recreational, and aesthetic benefits of Maine's lakes. We accomplish this through science-based action, education and advocacy, and by supporting local lake associations. We strive to build a diverse and growing membership of lake associations, individuals, and businesses who actively support our mission. Our organization focuses on three program areas: LakeSmart which educates landowners about erosion and runoff; Lakes Alive! which focuses on youth education; and Advocacy in both Augusta and D.C. to promote laws, rules and regulations that protect lake health.
Testimonials
This was a challenging project, with an illustrator working on one side and a designer on the other. We didn't use Ben's design in the end, but he made a good effort to meeting our needs.
