What we have in place
  • We currently have our mission, values, and commitments, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have quick communication times and a clear vision, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,248 , allowing us to provide A Moment of Magic to more than 1,400 children.

We are in need of help with tightening up and clearly communicating our mission and values. We have an incredible organization but can do a better job in our communication.

  • Volunteer Manager provides the Professional with existing mission, vision and/or values, as well as annual reports and other relevant background materials

Milestone 1: Information Gathering & Outline
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager connect to discuss prep materials, the current vision, and future plans
  • Professional creates an outline for the mission, vision & values and incorporates any feedback from the Volunteer Manager

Milestone 2: First Draft
  • Professional shares the first draft
  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback which the Professional incorporates

Our mission

A Moment of Magic Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides medically vulnerable children with creative programming, outlets, and support to foster imagination, friendship, and hope through our college-student volunteers.

We provide a variety of services to children with medical vulnerabilities, all at no cost. We focus on bringing creative play through arts, crafts, music, and literature to children in hospitals, their homes, or remotely via technology.
