What we need
  • A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
  • A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future
Additional details

We'd like support in how to most effectively create and keep up a content calendar for Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn and instagram! Best practices in crafting posts for different platforms and monitoring/posting tools would be so helpful and appreciated!

What we have in place
  • We currently have Meltwater, active accounts and new staff,, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a decent bank of photos, fliers and videos, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to Oh my goodness, we could expand our programming in underserved communities and create additional opportunities for community engagement and education

Our success is so dependent on connecting with various stakeholders, from media to the community; consistency in our message and regular more frequent cadence will create and highlight our partner organizations, our impact and gain community support and involvement!

  • Volunteer Manager shares social media credentials and existing marketing materials with Professional
  • (If applicable) Professional audits existing social media account to determine which content types are performing best
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss & agree upon target audiences, content types, and posting frequency

Milestone 1: Calendar Structure Creation
  • Professional uses Google Sheets, Excel, Airtable, or comparable software to set up content calendar structure
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

Milestone 2: Content Creation
  • Volunteer Manager shares raw materials (photos, quotes, stories, etc) that Professional needs to create content
  • Professional creates up to 4 weeks’ worth of social media posts (approximately 12-20 posts) and inputs into calendar
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

(Optional) Milestone 3: Content Scheduling / Software Setup
  • Professional connects Organization’s social media account to a scheduling software like Buffer or Hootsuite
  • Professional sets up and schedules up to 4 weeks of posts in scheduling software
