What we need
  • Significant update to Organization’s existing CMS website, such as adding a new page, customizing a theme, adjusting layout, etc.
  • Smaller update to Organization's non-CMS website
Additional details

Overcoming Barriers currently lease a building where it houses the headquarters for Overcoming Barriers but also serves as creative space for small businesses and entrepreneurs. We are looking to build out a place on our website where people who want to rent out workspace can request it via our website.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a few people who rent out booths daily, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have one of our team members managing the booths, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,586 , allowing us to make better investments into the entrepreneurs that do use the building.

It is a challenge to coordinate who is in which booth which days. People looking for space currently have to just show up to see which ones are available. If we can house that information on our website, it will be helpful and cut down on some traffic in and out.

  • Volunteer Manager shares link to existing website with Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides list of required updates to make (including sharing content or image assets, as necessary)
  • Both parties review our pro-tips for Organizations and Volunteers to ensure the project is set up for success

Milestone 1: Kick-Off Meeting
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss requested updates, and agree on a project timeline
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with credentials to access the website admin portal

Milestone 2: Review Updates
  • Professional makes the requested updates to the website (if available, the changes should be made in a test or development environment first)
  • Volunteer Manager reviews each update, and reports any remaining issues to the Professional

Milestone 3: Implementation of Updates
  • Professional implements updates to the live website
  • Professional troubleshoots any issues that may arise immediately after implementing changes on the live site
