What We Need
  • Tightly-written web copy of up to to eight pages of 200-300 words each
  • The opportunity to work closely with an experienced, SEO literate copywriter
Additional Details

We need help with the website copywriting for our thrift store (Dragonfly Thrift)-where we employ LEAP grads and where all proceeds benefit LEAP. We want to drive traffic to website using SEO targeting both people interested in our cause and also regular thrift shoppers. I want to improve our 'about us' page and work on copywriting for a new page introducing our own merch project focused on changing the language used surrounding formerly incarcerated people.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have live website with existing copy, keywords, content strategy, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have lots of copy used for grants etc-just need to consolidate, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $6,073 , allowing us to continue to provide education housing & employment to formerly incarcerated women

Our mission is to give formerly incarcerated women the opportunity to gain the skills and confidence they need to transition into their next phase of life. In order to spread the word about our mission and provide on-going advocacy for formerly incarcerated women, we need to be able to educate the general public-and in order to do so, we need to use compelling land concise language and drive website traffic

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the brand positioning and communications plan (if available), the purpose, key messages, desired tone and target audience

  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with any existing materials and content strategy to begin writing
  • Both parties review our pro-tips for Organizations and Volunteers to ensure the project is set up for success
