What we'd like to talk about

I would like info on how to increase funding by reaching individual donors during the upcoming holiday season and to establish some type of regular communication with potential donors and supporters.

Additional context

We have not done any donor development nor solicitation because we are a recently established nonprofit. We teach practical skills to those supporting someone in grief. Currently, we solicit participants for our classes on loss, grief and transition through the email lists of our volunteer board members. We recently created our website (tlcforgrief.org). We have no staff, thus, totally board driven.

"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.

Testimonials

Brittany is very knowledgeable, helpful, a great communicator, and experienced with nonprofits. Her suggestions for connecting with donors were thought provoking, sensitive to our mission, and specific to our potential donors. She provided many different examples of ways to start a donor letter for this current holiday season as well as future ones I especially appreciated the way she connected our work on loss and grief to larger cultural issues such as Covid and refugees/immigrants. She has such a great spirit. Her commitment to the nonprofit sector is so very evident. I really enjoyed our time together.
