Hali helped Southern California Grantmakers create a well-structured presentation that highlights the mutual value of partnering with the organization for prospective corporations or organizations.
Southern California Grantmakers is a mission-driven nonprofit that helps grantmakers (foundations, companies, and government) achieve greater impact through their grantmaking. We ourselves are a small but mighty nonprofit, funded 1/3 by member dues and the rest from grants and sponsorships including the Annual Conference. Increasing sponsor dollars will let us keep educating grantmakers and advocating for systemic change on our society's crucial issues including racial justice & equity. Thanks!
This project will save us $4,828, allowing us to pay for equity-focused conference costs e.g. travel stipends for national nonprofit leaders to speak, closed-captioning and other accessibility for people with disabilities, etc.
Hi, my name is Hali! I'm originally from Atlanta, Georgia and moved to the Bay Area for college, where I studied Economics (BA) and Computer Science (MS). I now live in San Francisco and work as a management consultant, with a focus on tech strategy. I enjoy hiking and backpacking, experimenting in the kitchen, and exploring new places.
