Biography

Marie Claire Burt is in charge of designing and promoting curriculum and best teaching practices of our three Self-sufficient Agricultural Schools that train poor youth to become “rural entrepreneurs". She also supports our teacher training initiatives, technology inclusion in the classrooms, and fundraising.

Marie Claire has an eight-year background in working in academic settings with children and adolescents from various socioeconomic backgrounds, in both English and Spanish, in the United States, Paraguay, and India. She is well experienced in social activism, human rights, and public policy, supporting minorities and socially and economically marginalized populations.
