Website Set Up (CMS-Based)
Website Set Up (CMS-Based)
Project details
What we need
- Set up of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS) like Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly
- Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
- Note: We recommend that you do a Website Content Plan project first, so that you have all the content ready for your new CMS-based site. A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily - no coding required!
Additional details
We actually have a website: We need to create a pop-up window for our squarespace website. Ideally, web designer will know how to create a pop-up window from scratch, with code (vs. using a plug-in). Also, the wonderful web designer will show us how to update the pop-up window if necessary so we can make adjustments ourselves
What we have in place
- We currently have The written copy for the window and the asset we are sharing, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have The website already set up, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $16,822 , allowing us to We pay a stipend to girls to come for a program, so saving this money is literally letting us bring more girls into the program and pay them for their time!
Not only will this pop-up window help us capture people who come to our website to get them involved with our community, we hope the resiliency skills we are sharing will be of use to everyone. So the pop-up window will both provide critical growth for our community and ideally be a supportive asset people will really enjoy and value

Our mission
DemocraShe is a national nonpartisan online program that empowers female-identifying high school students from historically underserved communities with the skills they need to lead and run for office, and the strategies to counter barriers and negative narratives that prevent women from fulfilling their potential.
What we do
DemocraShe strongly believes for young women to start AND STAY in the candidacy pipeline, they must have access not only to public policy (practical tools to feel confident in leadership), but social work (the resiliency tools to deal with the systemic and societal headwinds that come at women when they aspire to leadership).
We are a space of joy and hope - an unconditionally supportive intersectional sisterhood of young women who have each others' backs for life.
