Project details

What we need
  • Cover letter of 3-4 paragraphs clearly stating why you’re applying for this grant and how you will meet the funder’s requirements
Additional details

Is this related to the Case Statement?

What we have in place
  • We currently have a Case Statement, 2.5 pages long, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a Community Needs Assessment underway now, report due Oct. 1, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,066 , allowing us to hire an intern from a local graphic arts program to help prepare our newsletter and print it in color.

Two aspects of our small community center's environment are changing:
1. our preschool enrollment is down because public schools are now accepting 4- year olds, and there are many more preschools in our area now;
2. charitable giving among smaller donors are down, related to the tax cut.
Our nonprofit community center has to adjust our programming and our fundraising to serve the low-income Latino and Asian residents of San Gabriel, CA. Presenting our case better to major donors is required.
