What we need

What we have in place
- We currently have a mission statement and five committed board members, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have my commitment to serve as project leader, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,248 , allowing us to invest those resources into our recently developed fundraising plan in order to increase our capacity as well as infusing greater resources into our programs and educational outreach efforts.
The Community Gardens of Tucson was founded in 1990 and served the City of Tucson's diverse neighborhoods with 20 gardens in which folks can grow healthy and nutritious food for the table. We are currently working to re-energize and "up our game" on our 30th annivesary, and by revisiting our mission statement and creating a vision and value statement will go a long way to revitilizing our impact in the community.

To create and support accessible community gardens with Tucsonans of diverse experience levels, abilities and cultures in order to educate, foster wellness, and enhance the environment for people, plants, and pollinators.
