What we have in place
  • We currently have last year's event logo, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have American Cancer Society's logo, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to provide life saving resources to cancer patients and their caregivers through research, a 24/7 cancer helpline, free or reduced lodging, and more.

Battle of the Beards is a fundraising campaign and event benefitting the American Cancer Society that will take place in November 2020. This will be the 2nd year of this event. I'm looking for a new set of eyes to create new graphics.

The campaign takes place throughout the fall with a kick off in September and a final party in November. Throughout Sept-Nov, a group of nominated young male professions fundraise for the American Cancer Society and grow their beards.

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the graphic, key audiences, and visual branding guidelines
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of graphics or memes they like with the Professional

Milestone 1: Preliminary Design
  • Professional drafts three graphics using different themes to share with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary theme and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of graphic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds of feedback

Milestone 3: Final Graphic Delivered
  • Professional delivers final version of the graphics and explains how to upload image(s) to the Organization’s chosen platform(s)
