What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

We need a short video that represents our "2020 year in review". Staff from different departments would record themselves, but we don't have capacity or expertise to combine the clips into one comprehensive, professional video to share with our members.

What we have in place
  • We can write script and have staff record themselves. Need support in putting together one final clip of all of them.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to focus our efforts in increasing funding for community nonprofits as they work to serve communities in need of mental health, intellectual and developmental disability and other community services.

Our organization is a nonprofit association. We advocate to maintain funding and advance policies and programs that support community nonprofits. Now more than ever, in the midst of the pandemic, it's important we continue to grow our capacity so we can access resources to continue our advocacy work. This project is important because it will help us retain current members and potentially recruit new ones, ultimately strengthening our organization and its ability to fulfill our mission.

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format
