What we need
  • A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
  • A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future

    I realize this project is for one social media platform, in which case we would like to focus on Facebook. I am provided our Instagram page here as well just for reference.

    I will also be able to provide photos and any background informational material.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to to be able to focus more on development and fundraising efforts. Social media is very time consuming and we are presently not executing it in an efficient way.

We engage a lot with our supporters via social media in the following areas: donations, adoptions, fosters, assistance with and/or alert to rescues, events, public awareness campaigns. Our followers are very active on our pages. We have plenty of material to post and need help with organizing and keeping up with our social media posts and overall strategy.

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss & agree upon target audiences, content types, and posting frequency

Milestone 1: Calendar Structure Creation
  • Professional uses Google Sheets, Excel, Airtable, or comparable software to set up content calendar structure
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

Milestone 2: Content Creation
  • Volunteer Manager shares raw materials (photos, quotes, stories, etc) that Professional needs to create content
  • Professional creates up to 4 weeks’ worth of social media posts (approximately 12-20 posts) and inputs into calendar
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

(Optional) Milestone 3: Content Scheduling / Software Setup
  • Professional connects Organization’s social media account to a scheduling software like Buffer or Hootsuite
  • Professional sets up and schedules up to 4 weeks of posts in scheduling software
