Logo Design & Visual Brand Identity
Logo Design & Visual Brand Identity
Project details
What we need
- Consultation regarding the Organization's current branding and desired branding objectives
- Visual branding guidelines / style guide that include specific colors, fonts, and other graphic design elements to use in print and digital communications materials
- High-resolution logo delivered electronically (in formats for digital and print use)
Additional details
Our organization needs a new brand identity & name. Our focus has expanded beyond sea level rise & water issues. We are working on pollution & contamination related to water, air, & soil, as well as addressing neglected infrastructure (pipes, drainage, flooding). We're a team of environmental leaders & residents seeking solutions to Marin City's environmental & health concerns, which have been overlooked & under-resourced. Our time is NOW. We are paving the way for a healthier, resilient future.
What we have in place
- We will provide you with examples and articles about our work, our team, and our community, including photos and project documents.
We can also provide you with our previous logo and draft of our website (we are still in the design process). this branding and logo should really help the website along as well.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,817 , allowing us to put more effort into our outreach and community engagement work, as well as securing partnerships and our habitat restoration.
This will help us to establish a solid presence with the community, our partners and stakeholders. A brand name and logo will also help to stop the confusion between our organization and other similar organizations, especially Shore Up Marin, whose name is too much like ours, Shore Up Marin City. This brand/organization is intended to amplify the voices of our community for justice against systemic racism, health, and environmental awareness.

Our mission
OUR MISSION
The Multicultural Center of Marin works with diverse immigrant and underserved communities of Marin County in advancing their social, cultural, and economic well-being through self-empowerment programs that encourage participation in the broader civic life of U.S. society.
What we do
In 2018, the Canal Welcome Center formally rebranded as the Multicultural Center of Marin. Today, we stand as a testament to the cultural wisdom and diversity that is inherent in the immigrant communities that make up Marin County.
Through training, mentorship, collaboration, and community organizing, the Multicultural Center of Marin provides the pathways and opportunities for people of these diverse communities to come together in strength. And by doing so, they become a wellspring for creating positive, community-rooted solutions throughout Marin County.
WHAT WE DO?
MCM has three main programatic areas:
Arts, Culture and Media
Youth & Family Empowerment
Community Resilience
