Project details

What we need
  • 3-5 one-on-one sessions with a coach to work on your individual methods of organizing your time and priorities
  • Recommendations on the best tools for your organizational needs
Additional details

I need someone to help coach me through my organization role. The key deliverables I'm hoping to achieve are:
1) Determine what system best fits my work style and natural rhythms
2) Better understand my own "time-sucks" like procrastination
3) Get accountability with a coach on working a system that will help me better serve my organization

My biggest challenge is that we are a growing organization and we are currently operating in 90-day sprints on strategy that is constantly changing.

What we have in place
  • We currently have google suite products and smartsheets as systems, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have staff members to support you, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,048 , allowing us to spend those resources on efforts (marketing) to better reach our constituent base.

The Colossian Forum is a Christian organization that is looking to help the church engage in conflict in a way that looks like Jesus. We have training, coaching, consulting, and curriculum that we provide religious organizations (schools, businesses, churches) to move people into better practices of conflict that alleviate the polarization we are seeing in our nation. This project will help stream-line our organization getting to more organizations more quickly and effectively.

Our mission

To equip leaders to transform cultural conflicts into opportunities for spiritual growth and witness.

What we do

The Colossian Forum was founded to provide spiritually-formative opportunities to engage culturally divisive topics through Christ-honoring conversations and deeply Christian practices. Our work is driven by the promise of Colossians 1:17, that "all things hold together in Christ"--including the Church. Our mission is to equip leaders to transform cultural conflicts into opportunities for spiritual growth and witness. We currently do this through two main offerings: "WayFinder" (a leadership training program), and "The Colossian Way" (a series of topical, small group curricula).

WayFinder helps leaders of Christian communities like churches and Christian schools to productively engage disagreements as an opportunity to deepen their love of God and neighbor while also reducing the toxic and costly effects of destructive conflict on their communities. Leaders are provided with theological vision, deeply Christian practices, and introductory systems to engage divisive topics in Christ-honoring ways. WayFinder prepares teams of faith leaders to approach conflict as a spiritual practice which, when lived into over time, can grow a community's resiliency in the face of tensions and help leaders creatively think, act, and lead like Christ through divisive situations.

The Colossian Way curricula offer small groups of Christians the opportunity to engage in conflict faithfully across a specific polarizing topic such as sexuality, politics, human origins, and the roles of men and women. Communities are able to practice leaning into, rather than away from, difficult conversations, leading to renewed unity in Christ even without uniformity of opinion. The goal of The Colossian Way is not to solve any one particular policy decision or craft the "right" answer based on the group's conversation, but to experience love and truth held together through the group's shared commitments to Christ.

Testimonials

Julie is an absolutely fantastic time management coach. Her ability to be present to your individual challenges and offer insight, wisdom, and practices to help improve your time management skills was very impressive. I've felt much more in control of my schedule and confident in my ability to navigate organizational systems and structures that pull on my time. This was one of the best coaching decisions I've ever made.

Time Management Coaching Project

Working with Kevin at Colossian Forum was a pleasure. He was committed to our coaching partnership specific to time management and always was engaged in the conversations, provided specific areas where he wanted to improve along with examples and applied the coaching ideas in the ways that fit best with his business. I have confidence he'll continue to leverage the approaches we discussed to experience greater focus, alignment of priorities and organization with his time and ultimately, even stronger results.
