INFORM's mission is to educate the public about the dangers of irresponsible mining and protect the environment.

What We Do

We monitor and review permits and proposals for hardrock mining in Colorado and work to address impacts from existing mines. We provide strategic, legal and technical advice on hardrock mines to impacted local groups and communities to assist their defensive campaigns. We actively work on policy and legal reforms to reduce mining pollution and protect people, water quality, and wildlife habitat in Colorado.
