Biography

Ms. Shepard is the Executive Director of The One Less Foundation and is an ex-oficio member of the board. Ingrid has been with the organization for six years. She also has more than 10 years of experience leading volunteer auxiliary groups including the development and management of programs. Ingrid is the owner of Shepard Consulting LLC, a firm that provides advisory services to the Federal government, banks and financial institutions on matters related to U.S. Anti-Money Laundering laws and related compliance issues. Ms. Shepard's professional experience includes employment at Merrill Lynch and the Bank of New York specializing in legal, compliance and international taxation. Ms. Shepard has also worked as a Tax Associate at Ernst and Young, LLP and Global Tax Network specializing in expatriate taxes. Ms. Shepard was born and raised in Denver, CO and moved to Philadelphia, PA, in 2002 where she currently resides. Ms. Shepard attended Texas A & M University.

Ingrid currently sits on four sub-committees with the Consumer Federation of America's (CFA) Policy Resolution committee: (1) Consumer Education, Protection & Vulnerable Consumers; (2) Government Reform & Taxation; (3) Credit, Savings & Financial System; and (4) Communications.

She is also President of the Board of Directors of the Germantown Special Services District (GSSD) a municipal authority, that governs the central Germantown business corridor in Philadelphia.
